HEROES DON'T DIE
After Joachim starts having strange visions of a prior life as soldier in former Yugoslavia his friend Alice, a documentary filmmaker, starts recording him and organizes a trip to Bosnia and Serbia to find proof of his possible reincarnation. This road trip film pushes the boundaries of the fake documentary genre blending spirituality and mysticism with a refreshingly funny dark comedic tone. At its heart a push and pull buddy dark comedy between Joachim and Alice played by an excellent Adele Haenel who during the trip starts mistrusting the sincerity of her friends visions.
A film that has been widely under reviewed so far and is available for acquisition in Scandinavia. Director Aude Lea Rapin and actress Adele Haenel will be present for a Q&A after the screening
